Fundação Pensamento Digital PSA



Pensamento Digital brings computers and and computer training to community centers in some of the poorest areas of Brazil. This PSA, funded by McMahan Abilities Activists, was an international co-production between Homunculus Productions and Oceano Produções of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and is currently on Brazilian Television.

Homunculus and Oceano also co-produced an industrial for Pensamento Digital. See Homunculus Industrials.

NCF "I Have a Star"


2009

Homunculus Productions produced this web movie for the National Cristina Foundation, featuring their work in the US.

NCF started as a small operation - with one Apple IIe computer! In 1983, Cristina McMahan, a young girl with cerebral palsy, was part of a special education class in the Yonkers Public Schools in Westchester County, NY. Her peers included children with a range of disabilities: spina bifida, loss of limbs, and learning disabilities. Many of the children needed adults to act as scribes for them when they wanted to write or draw.
